FS#3474 - android - SM-G991B - gallery: recorded sound is way too quiet
test version: 1.90
affected device: SM-G991B-os12
1. go to recording
2. select background music heart
3. start recording
4. knock on screen with fingers
5. stop recording
6. tap confirm button
7. go to gallery
8. play movie
BUG: the recorded sound is way too quiet for this device type, I must turn it up to 100% to make it audible → mov01 (I compared with a recoding from Audio Studio)
Note: it’s good for all my other test devices

can you make the volume higher when you record, then the sound should be louder
No, it doesn't help to increase the volume during recording (I tested with 100%). I compared with other devices and it's only this device type. It must be a software and no hardware issue because the volume is fine for AudioAdventure with same settings.

Update: nothing has changed, here is a logcat: app launch > select actor > select background > select no background music > start recording > knock mutiple times in device display > save recording > replay recording > adjust volume while playback till recorded sound is audible > over&out
For now we can't solve it, and keep it like it is. because it wasn't working before. but i added some logs in VideoRecorderController.cs:
"Mic Device-Name…." and "AudioSettings.outputSampleRate:…." and a bit more. Maybe check later if around that it is possible to fix this problem
